Why We're Obsessed with Resilience
Life isn't a straight line—it's what researchers call an "oscillating narrative" of ups, downs, and everything in between. That's why we're passionate about building real resilience. Not the grit-your-teeth-and-push-through kind, but the thoughtful, sustainable strength that comes from truly understanding yourself and your connections.
"When you know how to have deeper conversations, you're not just talking—you're building the emotional muscle memory to thrive through whatever comes next."
Through our Deep Dive Dialogues, we help people discover that the strongest individuals aren't the ones who never fall down—they're the ones who know how to have the conversations that help them get back up, learn, and grow stronger.
The Research That Changed Everything
Our "Aha" Moment
It started with a coincidence that stopped me in my tracks.
I was deep in development on our premium MyStories FOREVER 360° 3D "Virtual Immortality" solution, refining the StoryBuilder questions we'd use during pre-production interviews. These weren't ordinary questions—they were designed to draw out the stories that truly matter, the ones that reveal who we really are.
Then I watched a webinar by Dr Justin Coulson on building resilience in children. He shared research by Professor Marshall Duke showing that children who knew their family stories were significantly more resilient. When Duke's 20 "Do You Know" questions appeared on screen, something clicked. Several of them were remarkably similar to questions I'd already written for our StoryBuilder.
This wasn't coincidence. This was confirmation.
I dove into the research and discovered something that changed everything: family stories aren't just nice to have—they're foundational to emotional strength. They give children a sense of belonging, identity, and the understanding that life includes both struggles and triumphs, and that their family has weathered both.
But here's what made it personal.
Around the same time, I'd been testing my StoryBuilder questions on friends and family. The effect was immediate and unexpected. Conversations that would normally skim across the surface suddenly went deep. We weren't just catching up—we were genuinely discovering things about each other, even people I'd known for decades.
The real transformation happened with my mum, back in the UK. Our weekly phone calls had always followed the same pattern: five minutes of "How's everything? Good. You? Good. Talk soon." But when I started weaving in these carefully crafted questions, everything changed. Five minutes became three hours. Surface chat became genuine connection. I was hearing stories I'd never heard, understanding parts of her life I'd never thought to ask about.
That's when I connected the dots: the right questions don't just preserve stories—they create the conversations that uncover them. And those conversations don't just feel good in the moment. According to Professor Duke's research, they build something lasting: resilience that can carry families through whatever life brings.
I knew then that I wanted to share this beyond our exclusive 360° 3D clients. If deeper dialogues could unlock family stories, and family stories could build resilience, then I wanted to find ways to help as many families as possible experience this.
That was over eighteen months ago. What followed was the most immersive journey of research, development, and discovery I've ever undertaken.
Now, I'm proud to launch Dive Deep Dialogues and our MyStories FOREVER suite—born from a passion for story, a belief in the power of meaningful conversation, and the hope that we can help families build the kind of resilience that lasts for generations.

Why Young Adults Are Our Priority
The transition from adolescence to adulthood is when resilience becomes most crucial—and when many young people feel most overwhelmed.
The Challenge
- Rising anxiety and depression rates in teens and young adults
- Social media creating comparison culture and shallow connections
- Major life transitions without emotional scaffolding
- Disconnection from family wisdom and cultural heritage
Our Solution
- Vibe Series: Micro-learning in their language and format
- MyFamilyStories FOREVER: Connecting them to family wisdom
- Building emotional intelligence through structured dialogue
- Creating "oscillating narratives" that normalise life's ups and downs
"When young adults understand they're part of a larger story—one that includes both challenges and triumphs—they develop the confidence to write their own resilient chapters."
